·               Designed and developed a software solution to create and display dynamically generated HTML pages of data for the “First Action System for Trademark” application.  The Microsoft Visual Basic (VB) 6.0 based system interfaced to a legacy system through Sockets and XML

·               Designed and developed an advanced Event Handler System that collects production events (batch complete, scanner error, network fault, etc.) from high volume scanning and OCR systems that process over 1,000 domestic and international patents daily.  The Event Handler is written in Visual BASIC (VB) 6.0 and interfaces with an Oracle 8i database through MS Access local tables that are populated by asynchronous processes on multiple workstation under the control of a COTS Work Flow product “Input Accel”

·               Investigated the feasibility of replacing the development environment with VB.NET
